Lepidorhynchus denticulatus és una espècie de peix de la família dels macrúrids i de l'ordre dels gadiformes.
Morfologia
- Els mascles poden assolir 55 cm de llargària total.[2][3]
Depredadors
A Austràlia és depredat per Cyttus traversi, Macruronus novaezelandiae,[4] Helicolenus percoides i Hoplostethus atlanticus,[5] mentre que a Nova Zelanda forma part de la dieta de Micromesistius australis i Genypterus blacodes.[6]
Hàbitat
És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 180-1000 m de fondària, tot i que, normalment, ho fa entre 270-450.[7][2]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba al sud d'Austràlia[7][8][9][10] i a Nova Zelanda.[11][12][13][14][15][2]
