The 2025 Atlantic City mayoral election will be held on November 4, 2025. Incumbent mayor, Marty Small Sr., is running for a second full term as mayor of Atlantic City, New Jersey.[1] The election will run alongside the statewide 2025 gubernatorial election.
Background
[edit]Marty Small Sr. was appointed mayor in 2019 after the resignation of Frank Gilliam. He later won a special election in 2020 for the remainder of the term.[2] Small won his first general election by 54.2% against Republican Tom Forkin, as well as other third party candidates. Marty Small Sr. announced his re-election campaign, in October 2023.
