Hong Kong was represented at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China by the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China.
In total, 34 athletes including 17 men and 17 women represented Hong Kong in 11 different sports including athletics, badminton, cycling, equestrian, fencing, rowing, sailing, shooting, swimming, table tennis and triathlon.
Hong Kong was also the host of the equestrian competitions at the Hong Kong Equestrian Venues.

[edit]The Hong Kong Equestrian Venues in Hong Kong was chosen as the host for the equestrian events at the 2008 Summer Olympics.[1][2]

Equestrian
[edit]In total, three Hong Konger athletes participated in the equestrian events – Kenneth Cheng, Patrick Lam and Samantha Lam in the individual jumping.[3]
Hong Kong competitors took part in the Olympic equestrian events for the first time.[5] Jennifer Lee withdrew due to health problems with her horse, Mr Burns.[6]
