Jalovec (Hungarian: Parlag) is a village and municipality in the Prievidza District in the Trenčín Region of western Slovakia.
History
[edit]In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1430.
Geography
[edit]The municipality lies at an altitude of 345 metres (1,132 ft) and covers an area of 6.022 km2 (2.325 sq mi). It has a population of about 561 people.
