Leśnica [lɛɕˈnit͡sa] (German Freiwalde) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Małdyty, within Ostróda County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) north of Małdyty, 30 km (19 mi) north-west of Ostróda, and 52 km (32 mi) west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
