"N.H.I.E." is a song by British-American rapper 21 Savage and American rapper and singer Doja Cat on the former's third studio album, American Dream (2024).[1] It was sent to Italian contemporary hit radio on January 17, 2024, alongside "Redrum", as the lead singles from the album.[2] The record was produced by Kurtis McKenzie, Scribz Riley, and Jonah Stevens.[3] "N.H.I.E." stands for "never have I ever".
Composition
Teejay Small for HotNewHipHop wrote that "Doja Cat stuns with her trademark blend of melody and humor",[4] while Mosi Reeves for Rolling Stone praised Doja Cat's "whispery adlibs".
Lyrics
Fans claim that on Doja Cat's verse that she was praising the Ifá
Critical reception
Writing for Clash, Robin Murray stated that "Doja Cat provides balance" on the record.[5]
