Owja Kolah (Persian: اوجا كله, also Romanized as Owjā Kolah; also known as Owjā Kolā and Ūjā Kolā)[2] is a village in Kelarestaq-e Gharbi Rural District, in the Central District of Chalus County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2016 census, its population was 481, in 169 households.[3] Up from 382 people in 2006.[4]

Geography

Owja Koleh is between Sardab Rud river in its east and Hachirud river in its west. It has access to Chalus city and Chalus Road as well as Road 22 through rural roads. Settlements near Owja Koleh are Herteh Kola in north, Nematabad and Karimabad in east, and Chakhani in west. South of Owja Koleh lie the Alborz mountains and forests.[1][5]
