Kanalisasi

Kanalisasi adalah sistem drainase untuk menyalurkan air hujan, limbah manusia, dan air limbah industri rumah tangga, baik dengan pola pengurasan tanpa membedakan jenis air yang disalurkan, atau dengan pola ganda yang memisahkan jenis-jenis air, atau dengan sistem selokan terbuka, dan dengan menyediakan sumur penampung atau sumur kontrol.

Bahan saluran bisa dari pipa beton, pipa tanah (keramik), atau pipa keramik dengan lapisan tembikar, serta pipa-pia lain (pipa besi cor, pipa baja, PVC, PE, PP, pipa asbes-semen atau eternit, dan pipa timah.
