Descent (sh. Silazak) je dvodijelna epizoda američke science fiction TV-serije Star Trek: The Next Generation. Predstavlja posljednju epizodu šeste i prvu epizodu sedme sezone. Radnja prikazuje kako se posada Enterprisea iznenada suoči sa pripadnicima Borga koji su iznenada razvili individualnost i emocije, a pri čemu emocije počinje osjećati i Data.

Epizoda je poznata po sceni na početku u kojoj Data igra poker sa najvećim naučnim umovima u historiji, a što uključuje Stephena Hawkinga kojeg tumači sam Hawking.
